He also spoke about T20 cricket, his greatest cricketing lessons, the Knights’ pre-season preparations and some of the talented young Knights players coming through the ranks, as well as scoring his 17th first-class century at the beautiful Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.

Van Biljon also spoke about cystic fibrosis, a disease he believes the public need to have greater awareness about.

Van Biljon spoke to SA Cricket magazine on day three of the 4-Day Franchise series match at Newlands, Cape Town, between the Knights and the Cape Cobras, which the Cobras won on the final day by four wickets. Van Biljon was the Player of the Match after scoring a century and a half-century in the match.
