Western Province claimed a 146-run victory against KwaZulu-Natal Inland in the main match of the Khaya Majola Week at the Coetzenburg Oval on Sunday.
WP slumped to 50-4 in 15 overs, before Bongile Mfunelwa (66) and Juan James (38) added 86 runs for the fifth wicket to help the team set a respectable total of 218.
KZN Inland were then bundled out for 72, with Asakhe Tsaka taking 4-19 for WP.
The last day of the tournament also saw three spinners produce five-wicket hauls.
Border’s Amangile Twain took 5-14 as Limpopo were restricted to 96, while Namibia’s Gerhard Janse van Rensburg (5-29) helped his side to a 31-run victory over Mpumalanga.
Free State left their best performance for the final day of the tournament as spinner Dakalo Leketa took 5-33 in their 78-run victory over North West.
The Lions also finished the week with a victory as they convincingly defeated the Titans by seven wickets.
Christopher King’s 4-25 helped restrict the Titans to 141, before Thebe Gazide (40) and David Teeger (39) got the Lions to their target.
The highest score of the final day was recorded by Easterns’ Khayelihle Sithole (97), against the Northern Cape.
