Proteas Women’s batsman Laura Wolvaardt has been named in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament.
Wolvaardt used her opportunities with the bat whenever she had the chance and came close to steering the Proteas to victory in the semifinal against Australia last Thursday.
Instead the Australians walked away with a 5-run victory before hammering India by 85-runs in the final on Sunday.
