RIP Mogamat 'Boeta' Cassiem, unique part of Newlands furniture as wise-cracking ice cream salesperson. We were co-employees on the 4th floor of The Argus in the 1980s. Who can ever forget 'two, sir?', 'a lolly to make you jolly?', 'keep the change, young man', 'what a night'.
