Faf du Plessis was annoyed with Matthew Wade after being bowled by Paddy Dooley during a BBL match on Monday.
The Hobart Hurricanes wicketkeeper yelled “bowled” before the ball hit the stumps.
The Perth Scorchers batsman, who had scored 32 off 15, gestured at Wade before walking off.
“I think he was disappointed,” Wade said to Channel 7 while explaining the wicket. “I called ‘bowled’ maybe a little bit early. I don’t know how early it was, but I think that’s why he was annoyed. Apologies Faf.”
