Relive the fifth and final ODI between the Proteas and Australia at Newlands in 2016, where Faf du Plessis’ team handed their opponents a first-ever ODI series whitewash.
The two teams headed into the Cape Town clash with the Proteas on the cusp of history after winning the first four ODIs in Centurion, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
The hosts batted first at Newlands and, thanks to a brilliant century by Rilee Rossouw, posted 327-8 in their 50 overs.
