Ricky Ponting relives some of the quickest fast bowling he has ever faced, when Shoaib Akhtar steamed in at a consistent 150km/h during the third Test between Australia and Pakistan in Perth in 1999.
On what has always been a quick and bouncy surface at the WACA, even the great Ponting had to battle as hard as ever to adjust to the searing pace that made Akhtar so famous over the years.
Ponting, though, with Justin Langer at the other end, would fight Australia out of trouble to post scores of 197 and 144, respectively, as Australia won the clash by an innings and 20 runs.
This is scary quick!
