Captain Kraigg Brathwaite hit back at one of the West Indies’ biggest critics after their eight-run win against Australia in Brisbane.
In a post-match interview, Brathwaite revealed that comments from former Australian fast bowler Rodney Hogg after the Windies’ defeat in the first Test had spurred them on.
“Mr Rodney Hogg said we were pathetic and hopeless. So that was our inspiration, we wanted to show the world we are not pathetic.
“And I must ask him, are these muscles big enough for him?”
