Radaba emerges as future Test star, burying England at Centurion – 2016
Rabada, in just his fifth Test match, showed what all the hype was about following his promotion from the SA U19 ranks. He crushed the England batters in the first dig, taking the wickets of Alex Hales, Nick Compton, Joe Root, James Taylor, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad. Then he completely wiped out the middle and lower order in the second innings to win the Test for the Proteas.
Rabada’s five-for destroys Australia, wins Test for Proteas in Perth – 2016
The Proteas batted brilliantly in the second innings to set Australia a target of 539 to win. They never got close, thanks in large part to Rabada ripping through them, the prized wicket of Steve Smith among his scalps.
Fiery Rabada banned after crushing Australia at St George’s Park – 2018
This was ultimately the Test where Rabada’s enthusiastic celebration antics included brushing the shoulder of Steve Smith, eliciting an ICC ban. However, his five-for in the first innings, during which he dismissed Smith, Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh, and a second-innings six-for, which included the wickets of David Warner and Usman Khawaja, set the Proteas up for victory.

England were chasing 376 to win at Centurion and, with a deep batting lineup, on course to achieve a famous Test victory. That is until Rabada halted their momentum by wiping out the dangerous middle-order trio of Jonny Bairstow, Joe Butler and Sam Curran.
