Knights wicketkeeper/batsman Andries Gous told SACricketmag.com about his love for T20 cricket during a match at the beautiful Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
Gous spoke about the Knights’ pre-season training preparations ahead of 2018-19, working with cricket coaches and tweaking his technique, as well as the difference between practicing with a bowling machine and having throwdowns.
Gous also highlighted to us the importance of the reverse sweep as a weapon for any batsman.
He was speaking to SACricketmag.com on day three of the 4-Day Franchise Series match at Newlands, Cape Town, between the Knights and the Cape Cobras, which the Cobras won by four wickets on the final day. Gous was serving as twelfth man in this match.
