Kyle Verreynne produced a knock of the highest quality – an impressive double-century – to put the Cobras in a strong position against the Warriors on Monday.
Verreynne shared in a magnificent 192-run stand with George Linde as the home side piled on the runs at Newlands.
Linde made 107, while Verreynne struck an unbeaten 216 as the Cobras declared on a mammoth 513-6 in their first innings.
The Warriors reached stumps on day two on 32-1 after losing the early wicket of Eddie Moore, who managed only 11.

Having dismissed the Dolphins for 375, Rickelton batted with great composure as the Lions made it to stumps on 274-7 with the opener still standing strong on 143.
