SA U19 skipper, Raynard van Tonder, won Free State U19 Player Of the Year for the 2016-17 season at the awards evening held on Wednesday.
Van Tonder showed a great deal of character in the past two editions of the Khaya Majola week for Free State, SA Schools, as well as SA U19.

His fantastic 2016-17 season was capped off with him named as SA U19 captain for the five-match Youth ODI series against the 2016 World Cup winners, West Indies, in July.
