Driving service Uber is supporting the PinkDrive and Breast Cancer Awareness for the fourth ODI between the Proteas and England at the Wanderers on Friday.
Uber recently partnered with Cricket South Africa (CSA) for the initiative. The traditional Pink ODI gets the Proteas cricket team to switch their green attire for the day and go pink. The aim is to raise R1 million from activities at the match to support the work the PinkDrive is doing for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Uber will be assisting in meeting this target by matching 50% off all Uber trips taken to and from the game. In addition, Uber will also give cricket supporters 10% off Uber rides to and from the match on the day.
The Uber promo code ‘CRICKETSA’ has been set up for fans wanting to make use of this service. A special 10% discount will apply to all fans making use of Uber to and from the cricket stadiums, while first time users of Uber will get a R100 discount off their first trip to or from the stadium.
