Two players have tested positive for Covid-19 and had to be withdrawn from the Proteas group that departed for a ‘culture camp’ in the Kruger National Park on Tuesday.
Cricket South Africa confirmed on Thursday morning that 50 Covid-19 tests were conducted on the group of players and staff members ahead of their trip to Skukuza, with two returning negative.
These two players, whose names have not been given, did not join the group for the camp and have been forced to self-isolate as a result.

The tests were performed in line with CSA’s requirements to combat the further spread of the coronavirus.
Faf du Plessis is also not part of the camp due to the birth of his second child and has been replaced by Theunis de Bruyn.
