All-rounder Delmi Tucker has been named in a 14-player Proteas Women squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
It is the only change to the squad that lost the T20I series 2-1, with Annerie Dercksen falling out.
Experienced all-rounder Chloé Tryon will miss the ODI series due to ongoing rehabilitation for back pain.
“It’s a big loss with the injury of Chloé as an all-rounder, that’s why Delmi has come into the squad and she can give you the off-spin option and with her batting,” said Proteas Women coach Hilton Moreeng.
Sixteen-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Karabo Meso is set to make her ODI debut having earned her first T20I cap in the second match against Sri Lanka.
