The ICC has announced the dates for the World Test Championship final at Lord’s next year.
After two years of intense competition, spanning 69 Tests over 27 series, the top two teams in the WTC standings will meet in ‘The Ultimate Test’ from 11-15 June 2025.
India are currently at the top as per the percentage points that determine qualification, with Australia close behind in second place.
New Zealand are in third place, with England, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa bunched together mid-table.
The Test at Lord’s will decide the winner of the third edition of the WTC. New Zealand won the inaugural edition in 2021 and Australia lifted the Test mace in 2023.
