Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar has been admitted to hospital as a precaution after testing positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
Tendulkar announced earlier this week that he had returned a positive test for coronavirus after experiencing mild symptoms, stating that he has started his quarantine period at home.

However, on Friday he made another social media post where he said he was advised to be hospitalised as a precaution.
Tendulkar added that he hopes to be back home within a few days.
Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone.
