Warriors opener Jordan Hermann will join the Sunrisers Eastern Cape as their wild-card signing for the SA20 league.
The league announced on Monday that the six franchises would be able to add a wild-card player (a South African or an overseas player) to their squads ahead of the inaugural season starting on 10 January. They have until 30 December to make their selections.
The 20-year-old Hermann has been in top form for the Warriors since joining them from the Titans. Two weeks ago, he scored a brilliant unbeaten 187 against the Rocks in the 4-Day Series.
In six T20 matches, Hermann has made 186 runs, including two fifties, at an average of 46.50 and a strike rate of 116.25.
