• Sunrisers Eastern Cape make first signings

    Proteas batsman Aiden Markram will represent the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in South Africa’s new T20 league.

    Markram was the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s top run-scorer in this year’s IPL with 381 at an average of 47.62 and a strike rate of 139.05, including three half-centuries.

    The new Eastern Cape franchise has also signed Dolphins bowler Ottneil Baartman.
