Dolphins spin bowler Prenelan Subrayen has been suspended from bowling in domestic cricket because of a suspect action.
Subrayen was reported by the match officials after the Ram Slam T20 Challenge Match between the Dolphins and the Titans at Supersport Park on 1 November.
He was required to submit to an independent assessment of his bowling action. The assessment was conducted on 10 November and the analysis revealed that all his deliveries exceeded the 15 degrees level of tolerance for elbow extension.
The suspension will remain in force until he has undergone remedial work on his bowling action and has passed a re-assessment.
Subrayen took 4-29 in his last game for the Dophins against the Warriors on 8 November, which the Dolphins won by 34 runs. He has taken 33 wickets in 36 T20 matches at an average of 24.87.
