England all-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the remainder of the Test series against Pakistan due to family reasons, the English Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Sunday.
Stokes, vice-captain of the Test outfit, will travel to New Zealand later this week, where his family is based.

Stokes captained England for the very first time last month during the first Test match against the West Indies and has developed into one of the great red-ball cricketers of modern time.
His father did, however, experience health problems upon their recent tour to South Africa at the end of last year, which led to great concern among the Stokes family.
Craig Overton and Sam Curran are deemed worthy candidates to replace him in the England team.
England won the opening Test match against Pakistan by three wickets on Saturday after an impressive batting display by Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler.
