The Proteas have named an unchanged side as they look to go two up in perfect conditions at Kingsmead.
After their crushing eight-wicket victory in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, the Proteas go into the second ODI at Kingsmead full of momentumĀ against a young and experienced Sri Lankan unit bereft of confidence.
The Sri Lankans have given themselves the best possible chance of victory by winning the toss and opting to chase, as the South Africans did with distinction on the weekend.
The tourists have made two changes to the side that lost on Saturday, with Chaturanga de Silva and Sachith Pathirana coming in for Sandun Weerakkody and Jeffrey Vandersay respectively. The Proteas have opted for continuity by naming an unchanged side.
Conditions are perfect for the fans and players alike in Durban today, with clear, rainless skies and temperatures reaching as high as 31Ā°.
