Lungi Ngidi announced himself with a bang at the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 Indian Premier League. Despite missing the 2019 edition through injury, he has become a strong personality in MS Dhoni’s team. Here’s a look at his IPL record.
Ngidi had a delayed start to his IPL career when he had to return home to South Africa in 2018 after the passing of his father. The tall fast-bowler eventually joined up with the Super Kings and immediately hit the ground running with some excellent bowling displays.

Unfortunately, a side strain ruled Ngidi out of the 2019 IPL but he returned last year, and despite a troubled seasoned for the men in yellow, he managed to claim nine wickets from the four matches he played in the UAE.
