The Sydney Sixers smashed the Melbourne Renegades by 145 runs in the Big Bash League on Sunday.
The Renegades only managed 60 all out in response to the Sixers’ 205/4, Ben Dwarhuis (4-13) and Steve O’Keefe (3-16) the Sixers’ main destroyers with the ball.
The Sixers’ massive total was in large part due to an incredible effort from Josh Philippe, who scored 95 off just 57 deliveries. His innings featured nine fours and three sixes.
Josh Silk came in late in the innings to smash an unbeaten 45 off just 19 deliveries, in a total that the Renegades never look like being able to chase.
