Sierra Leone U19s crushed Swaziland U19 by eight wickets with 39 overs to spare.
Sierra Leone has won all four of their matches in the tournament to date, while Swaziland has lost all four matches. Jawad Muhammad top-scored for Swaziland with a valiant 22 off 44 balls before he was caught off the bowling of Haroun Kamara, who went on to take 4-16.
Kamara’s four-for was his first wickets in the tournament, and he followed it up with 27 runs opening the batting with captain George Ngegba, who top-scored with 48 off 38 balls as they knocked off the runs for victory in a little more than 10 overs.
Tanzania bowled Rwanda out for 134 off 40.5 overs, Parfait Mugisha (29), Amitie Iradukunda (34) and Yvan Shema (36 not out) offering the only resistance with the bat. Kartik Sayal (4-16) and Dhrumit Mehta (3-34) were the main wicket takers in a superb team effort in the field.
Rwanda got off to a great start, reducing Tanzania to 10-2 before Gokul Das (29) and Krutik Thakkar (21) added 45 for the third wicket. Aahil Jasani scored a quick 43 from 38 balls with five fours to take his side to victory off 22.1 overs for their second win in three matches.
