Titans seamer Malusi Siboto had gone for 10 runs in his first over of the T20 final against the Warriors when his captain threw him the ball for the vital last over.
The Warriors needed 12 to win their first T20 win in seven years, with Sisanda Magala and Lesiba Ngoepe in belligerent mood. One max would have put all the pressure back on the Titans.
But Siboto produced a brilliant spell as the two could not get enough bat on the ball to make a dent in the scoring. The 72-match List A veteran was clearly feeling the strain, for he had to crouch down to compose himself.
Magala was reduced to swinging so hard that if he had connected, they would have been fishing the ball out of the Juksei river. But four singles were all they got out of the first five balls.
Then Siboto bowls a wide. Six to tie of the last ball. Lots of reassuring hugs from his captain and he produces the almost perfect yorker to seal a six-run win.
Handled the pressure like Champions! Well done @MalusiSiboto23 with that final over. Gr8 campaign @markb46 @albiemorkel & @Titans_Cricket
