A wrap of all the weekend’s IPL action involving South African players, including Aiden Markram’s batting heroics for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Having hit 68* off 36 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday, Markram top-scored for Hyderabad in their seven-wicket win over the Punjab Kings on Sunday.
The Proteas batsman made 41* off 27 balls and finished the game off with a six as the Sunrisers reached their target of 152 with seven balls remaining. Kagiso Rabada claimed 1-29 for the Kings.

Meanwhile, David Miller produced one of his best T20 innings to help the Gujarat Titans beat the Chennai Super Kings by three wickets. The South African smashed 94* off 51 balls, including eight fours and six sixes, as the Titans reached their target of 170 with one ball to spare.
However, skipper Faf du Plessis scored just eight for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their 16-run win over the Delhi Capitals on Saturday.

Dewald Brevis produced another impressive knock in a losing effort for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL on Saturday.
Coming in at No 3, the SA U19 star smashed 31 off 13 balls, which included six fours and a six, against the Lucknow Super Giants as Mumbai suffered a sixth successive loss in this year’s tournament.
