In his final game for Lancashire, Dane Vilas was the pick of three South Africans who featured in his side’s draw with Middlesex.
Captain Keaton Jennings scored 29 off 82 deliveries (five fours) for Lancashire, before Vilas top scored with an unbeaten 124 off 180 balls (nine fours, one six).

Joburg-born Stephen Eskinazi chipped in with an unbeaten 26 off 115 deliveries (three fours) during Essex’s second innings of the match, which finished in a draw.

Colin Ackermann was the standout player for Leicestershire in their narrow 15-run loss to Surrey, scoring 136 off 190 deliveries (21 fours) during his side’s final innings.

Du Plooy fired an unbeaten 108 off 164 deliveries (14 fours) for Derbyshire, while Van Buuren scored a first-innings 78 off 109 balls (eight fours, two sixes) for Gloucestershire, and followed it up with an unbeaten 48 off 100 deliveries (six fours) in the final innings.

On Sunday, Imran Tahir claimed figures of 3-12 in a Man of the Match performance for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in their six-wicket victory over the Trinbago Knight Riders, while Durban-born Chris Green‘s 4-15 steered the Jamaican Tallawahs to a 122-run victory over the St Lucia Kings.
