Essex’s Simon Harmer claimed figures of 3-93 and 3-28 in a four-wicket victory over Warwickshire, while teammate Dean Elgar scored 60 off 113 balls (seven fours).

Lancashire captain Keaton Jennings, the son of former SA wicketkeeper and SA U19 coach Ray, scored a first-innings 115 off 155 deliveries (17 fours), before following up with 155 off 213 (18 fours, two sixes) in a 60-run win over Durham.

Durham’s Colin Ackermann scored 44 off 75 balls (five fours), while teammate David Bedingham notched a first-innings 101 off 151 deliveries (eight fours, two sixes), before scoring 103 off 155 (13 fours, one six).
The Proteas batsman has now scored four centuries in five first-class matches this season.

Northamptonshire’s Ricardo Vasconcelos scored 53 off 91 balls (seven fours) and 41 off 66 (four fours) in a draw with Derbyshire, whose Wayne Madsen scored 62 off 152 deliveries (three fours, one six) and 27 off 52 (two fours, one six).
