Colin Ingram and Wiaan Mulder produced superb all-round performances in England’s One-Day Cup this week.
On Tuesday, Ingram scored 30* off 35 balls (four fours and a six) as Glamorgan beat Derbyshire by eight wickets.
Two days later, he amassed 155 off 148 balls (15 fours and three sixes) complemented by bowling figures of 2-42 as Glamorgan beat Kent by three wickets. George Linde also featured in this match with 27* off 36 balls and figures of 2-59.
Leicestershire’s seven-wicket victory over Surrey on Tuesday saw Mulder score 71* off 65 balls (eight fours and two sixes) while teammate Beuran Hendricks took 4-39.
Mulder continued his fine form by helping Leicestershire beat Middlesex by 15 runs on Thursday. He scored 116 off 100 balls (14 fours and three sixes) and picked up impressive figures of 4-47 to cap off a complete all-round showing. Teammate Hendricks pitched in again with 2-74.
This match also featured Middlesex’s South African-born Stephen Eskinazi, who scored 56 off 51 balls (seven fours and one six) and Pieter Malan, who scored 50 off 53 (five fours).
Twenty-two-year-old Matthew Montgomery scored 87 off 94 (four fours and a six) and Dane Paterson returned figures of 2-40 as Nottinghamshire beat Sussex by 65 runs on Tuesday.
Paterson followed up with 3-28 when Nottinghamshire beat Somerset by 10 wickets on Thursday.
