Joburg-born former England international Keaton Jennings scored 56 runs off 131 balls (seven fours) in Lancashire’s innings-and-nine-run defeat to Hampshire.
Kyle Verreynne made 50* off 60 deliveries (five fours, one six) on his county debut for Nottinghamshire in their draw against Surrey.

Colin Ingram hit a mammoth 257* off 375 balls (28 fours, one six) in Glamorgan’s draw with Leicestershire.
It saw him become the quickest to reach 1,000 runs for Glamorgan in a season (13 innings).

Wayne Madsen continued his fine form with a knock of 138 off 210 deliveries (21 fours, three sixes) in Derbyshire’s first innings against Sussex, before scoring 77 off 149 balls (10 fours) in their second.
Derbyshire, though, still suffered an innings and 59-run loss.
Madsen drives back-to-back boundaries in the sixth over, Reece (7*) at the other end.
