Stephen Eskinazi and Heinrich Klaasen‘s powerful striking stood out from the South Africans participating in England’s The Hundred.
The Welsh Fire’s Eskinazi and Roelof van der Merwe led the charge during their six-wicket victory over the Birmingham Phoenix.
Van der Merwe recorded economic figures of 2-16 and took a sensational catch, before Man of the Match Eskinazi bludgeoned 43 off 18 balls (six fours, two sixes).

The high-flying Klaasen was in a destructive mood as he struck 46 off 22 balls (six sixes) for the Oval Invincibles in their nine-run victory over the Northern Superchargers.
Wayne Parnell also featured in the match, claiming 2-29 for the Superchargers.

Eskinazi was the lone warrior for the Welsh Fire in their hefty nine-wicket loss to the Southern Brave, top scoring with 38 off 34 deliveries (three fours).
Leus du Plooy then guided the Brave over the finish line with an unbeaten 17 off 12 balls (one four, one six).

In the match between the Welsh Fire and Trent Rockets, Van der Merwe took 2-44 with the ball before Eskinazi scored 25 off 23 (two fours, one six) as their side went down by four runs.
