South Africa beat New Zealand by six wickets in the final of the Over-40 Cricket World Cup in Cape Town on Friday.
Needing 156 to win at Western Province Cricket Club, the hosts reached their target in the 38th over with wicketkeeper Werner Moolman left unbeaten on 45.
SA opening batsman Kyle Smit made 33 off 42 balls, while Nathan Jones chipped in with a useful 23 off 28.
Earlier, New Zealand were bowled out for 155 in 42.2 overs.
Opener Hardeep Singh top-scored with 55 off 67 deliveries, while Dan Styer, Lundi Mbane, Abdul Aziz Temoor and Pieter Booysen each picked up two wickets for the hosts.
