Rilee Rossouw, who has become one of the world’s brightest batting prospects after a difficult start to his Proteas career, is on the cover of the August/September SACricket magazine.
Rossouw had a tough start to his international career, making four ducks in his first six innings. That has been long forgotten however, as he has established himself as a regular in the shorter formats thanks to some scintillating efforts. He hit two centuries in four innings against West Indies, and averaged over 50 at the World Cup. His infectious attitude and determination adds to his sense of belonging in the Proteas camp, as he sets himself up for a long international career.
Rossouw is the cover feature, as a bumper season of international cricket is now well underway.
Also in the new issue:
– Ben Stokes and the England revival
– Kane Williamson’s black caps touch down
– CSA transformation
– Charl Langeveldt on his new role
