Faf du Plessis struck his sixth half-century of the 2023 IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday.
The RCB captain took full advantage of being dropped on nought to score 65 off 41 balls (five fours, three sixes) against the Mumbai Indians in Wankhede.
He has now scored 576 in 11 matches this season at an average of 64.00 and a strike rate of 158.24.
Du Plessis was involved in a 120-run partnership for the third wicket with Glenn Maxwell (68 off 33 deliveries) as Bangalore recovered from 16-2 to post 199-6.
But it wouldn’t be enough as Mumbai won by six wickets with 21 balls remaining.
