Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock powered the Seattle Orcas to a nine-wicket win against the Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League Cricket on Tuesday.
David Miller struck 44* off 22 balls (five fours, two sixes) to help LA post a competitive 168-5.
But it wasn’t enough as Rickelton smashed 103* off 66 balls (nine fours, five sixes) on his MLC debut, while De Kock contributed 51* off 46 balls (three fours, two sixes), to help Seattle win with a ball to spare.
It was a night to remember for Rickelton, who did not get a game for the Proteas at the recent T20 World Cup.
