Relive the batting onslaught by England during the third ODI against Australia at Trent Bridge in 2018, producing the highest-ever score in ODI cricket.
Australian cricket was on a downward spiral after the ‘Sandpapergate’ saga a few months earlier, of which England took full advantage by piling on further misery.
Batting first on an overcast day in Nottingham, the English batsmen went on a mission from the start – with Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales and Eoin Morgan all in a destructive mood.

Bairstow and Hales reached magnificent centuries before departing for 139 and 147, respectively, as England surpassed their own previous record of 444 to post a gigantic 481-6 in their 50 overs.
In reply, Australia were dismissed for 239 to hand England the series, but they would go on to complete a humiliating 5-0 whitewash of the battered Australians.
