The Momentum One-Day Cup encounter between the Titans and Knights has been abandoned due to persistent rain in Potchefstroom.
The Pool A matchup between the two teams was delayed from the start on Monday before umpires called it off shortly after 2pm without a ball being bowled.
Both the Titans and the Knights suffered respective defeats by the Dolphins at Senwes Park this past weekend. Each team has, however, been awarded two points for the no-result, raising the importance of their remaining fixtures.
The men from Pretoria will face the Dolphins in the return fixture on Thursday before again taking on the Knights on Friday.
The Knights will then participate in the final Pool A match of the competition by tackling the Dolphins on Saturday.
The Pool B matchups, featuring the Cobras, Warriors and Lions will get under way at the same venue next week. The top-two teams from each pool will then contest the semi-finals.
MATCH ABANDONED: With no improvement in conditions here at Senwes Park officials have decided to abandon the match against @KnightsCricket without a ball being bowled.
