Kagiso Rabada’s crushing delivery in his first over to Sunil Narine is the Play of the Day.

The Delhi Daredevils were thrashed by the Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets, but that’s through no fault of Rabada, who was in imperious form with the ball.

After impressing on his debut with 1-30 and a career-best 44 with the bat against the Mumbai Indians last week, he finished with figures of 2-20 against KKR, and both deliveries for his wickets were special. Narine, who’s proven to be a dangerous makeshift opener, was completely beaten for pace. Then, with the damage already unfortunately done, he did the same to Manish Pandey.

He was getting some of his deliveries to clock above 146km/h, which are excellent signs for the Proteas.
