Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against England after sustaining a right adductor strain.
Rabada featured for the Proteas in the first two T20Is against Eoin Morgan’s men before missing out on selection for the final encounter at Newlands on Tuesday evening.
The speedster failed to pick up a wicket in the opening encounter, but got one scalp in this past Sunday’s defeat in Paarl.
The injury will expectedly force him to spend three weeks in recovery and he will exit the Proteas bio-bubble to begin his healing process.
The first of three ODIs gets under way at Newlands on Friday.
