Kagiso Rabada has expressed his excitement ahead of his stint for the Delhi Capitals in the 12th edition of the IPL.
Rabada, who was one of the Proteas players rested for the last two T20Is against Sri Lanka, will now ply his trade in the 12 edition of the IPL for the Delhi side, who have changed their name from the Daredevils to the Capitals.
Rabada sent a message to his fans after arriving in India ahead of the tournament.
‘Last year I missed the IPL. It was disappointing, but I enjoyed the break. Now I’m back here, playing for the same team, which is Delhi, and who are now called Delhi Capitals. It’s good to be back in India. I love to play here.
‘I’m very excited as to what this tournament holds. I will do my best for myself and for the team, and hopefully we can lift the trophy in the end.’
Rabada was ruled out of the 11th edition of the tournament due to a lower back injury, but he did have a decent debut season in 2017 when took six wickets in six matches, and had a highest score of 44.
Good to have you back, @KagisoRabada25! ?
