Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is looking forward to a fruitful working relationship with new head coach Mark Boucher and batting consultant Jacques Kallis.
Boucher and Kallis were appointed by Cricket South Africa interim director of cricket Graeme Smith earlier this month.

‘It’s amazing to have someone like Jacques in. I’ve never worked with him, he’s a great of the game. So is Boucher,’ said Rabada.
‘Just to hear their knowledge, it doesn’t even have to be skill-based, just mentally how you want to approach certain situations. It’s great to have them around. They speed up the learning process.’
Rabada also welcomed the return of bowling consultant Charl Langeveldt. The former Proteas seamer has been employed in this position previously – and recently returned after stints with Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
‘I really enjoy working with him. He’s in the same light as Mark and Jacques. They know what they are talking about. They’ve been playing at this level for a very long time. Everything is well-drilled and well-oiled. There’s no hesitation, they have a plan and they’re really decisive,’ added Rabada.
The Lions’ Enoch Nkwe was interim team director for the Proteas’ tour of India earlier this year. He has since been named full-time assistant coach.
‘Enoch is someone I’ve worked with since age group level. The guys who have worked with him know his quality. He’s a valuable person to have in the change room,’ concluded Rabada.
The Proteas will soon host England for four Tests. The series opener will start at SuperSport Park in Centurion on 26 December.
