Kagiso Rabada added to a clinical bowling performance as the Delhi Capitals beat the Mumbai Indians by six wickets on Tuesday.
Rabada picked up figures of 1-25 in his spell as the Capitals ran through Mumbai’s batting grid with the defending champions posting 137-9 in their innings.
Captain Rohit Sharma was the only worthy batting contributor with 44, while South Africa’s Quinton de Kock managed only two.
Shikhar Dhawan once again led from the front for the Capitals in their innings, hitting 45 before departing while Steve Smith added 33.
Captain Rishabh Pant made only seven to leave the Capitals with a bit of work to do in the final two overs.
But, an expensive penultimate over by Jasprit Bumrah, that yielded two no-balls, left the Capitals with only five runs to get from the final six balls.
Shimron Hetmyer and Lalit Yadav kept their cool to see the Capitals home with five balls remaining.
