Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been added to the Test squad for the remainder of the Sri Lanka series after successfully recovering from injury.
Rabada, who isn’t part of the current match in Centurion, was also unavailable for the recent ODI series against England after suffering a right adductor muscle strain.
He has since been cleared by the Proteas medical staff and will join the squad in the bio-secure bubble after going through all the necessary protocols.
The Proteas reached lunch on day three of the opening Test match against Sri Lanka on 435-5 with Faf du Plessis unbeaten on 112.
