Michael Atherton doesn’t believe that the actions of Kagiso Rabada in celebrating the wicket of Joe Root warrant a demerit point as debate rages on.

Speaking during the second morning of the Third Test, the former England captain said: ”He’s not swearing at the batsman. He’s not abusing the batsman. It’s a little overzealous and a little close to Joe Root. Is that worthy of a demerit point and subsequent ban, I don’t think so.’
