Following their impressive 4-1 ODI series triumph over India, the Proteas Women have climbed up to second in the ICC ODI rankings.
With a series win already in the bag, the South Africans delivered another excellent showing in Lucknow on Wednesday, tumbling the Indian Women’s team by five wickets.
In the absence of their regular captain, Dane van Niekerk, Sune Luus led the team with great pride and honour.

Australia still sit atop the rankings with the Proteas now in second, while the English Women’s team is in third.
