CSA has named a 15-player squad for the Proteas Women’s white-ball leg of the Australian tour from 27 January to 18 February.
Captained by Laura Wolvaardt, the squad includes fellow Women’s Big Bash League stars Marizanne Kapp and Chloé Tryon.
KZN Dolphins fast bowler Ayanda Hlubi, who made her T20I against Bangladesh in Kimberley in December, has earned a maiden ODI call-up.
The Proteas squad for the first-ever Test match between the two nations, from 15-18 February at the WACA Ground in Perth, will be confirmed during the ODI series.
