The Proteas have been drawn in a tough group for this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
They will be in Group 2 with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, along with two qualifiers.
Group 1 will comprise hosts and defending champions Australia, England, New Zealand and Afghanistan, along with two qualifiers.
South Africa’s opening match will be against the Group B winner in Hobart on 24 October followed by a clash against Bangladesh in Sydney on 27 October.
They will then take on India in Perth on 30 October and Pakistan in Sydney on 3 November, before facing the Group A runners-up in Adelaide on 6 November.
