Proteas cricketers Robbie Frylinck and Mangaliso Mosehle have been included in the KwaZulu-Natal Inland squad for this month’s Provincial T20 Cup.
Mosehle, who recently moved from the Lions, played seven T20Is in 2017 and will represent the Paarl Rocks in the Mzansi Super League later this year.
Frylinck has played three T20Is and was part of the Pietermaritzburg Spur’s title-winning squad in this year’s Dolphins Premier League.
‘We have got a lot of franchise players coming down into the side from a franchise level and it brings the level of the rest of the squad up,’ said KwaZulu-Natal Inland vice-captain Luke Schlemmer.
‘A lot of the younger guys are learning quite a lot from the more senior players and they are excited to play with these guys.
‘We give the senior players the role of making the youngsters feel welcome because I think if you feel comfortable with those players, then you gel into the squad a lot better.’
The Provincial T20 Cup used to be called the Africa T20 Cup. Gauteng are the reigning champions after beating Border in last year’s final.
