AB de Villiers and Chris Morris have been withdrawn from the SA Invitation XI to play Zimbabwe in a three-day tour match at Boland Park, starting on Wednesday.
De Villiers, who is suffering from lower back strain, has been withdrawn as a precaution and will be fit for the Proteas’ Test against Zimbabwe in Port Elizabeth.
Young Western Province all-rounder Dayyaan Galiem has been brought into the SA Invitation XI as a replacement for Morris – who is nursing a groin strain.
